MEDIA ADVISORY - Connect Ohio to showcase recently funded ARRA broadband projects across the state at upcoming quarterly meeting
Columbus, Ohio – Connect Ohio’s Third Quarterly Technology Association Meeting will predominantly focus on discussion revolving around ARRA broadband stimulus funding awardees, as well as detail other funding sources for all non-awarded projects. Quarterly Technology Association Meeting
Who: Tom Fritz, Executive Director, Connect Ohio; Pankaj Shah, Executive Director, OARnet; Christa Callihan, Executive Assistant to the Director, Governor’s Office of Appalachia.
What: The meeting will highlight Connect Ohio’s recent progress, Ohio broadband stimulus award recipients including discussion around Connect Ohio’s BTOP grant that has recently been funded. OARnet will discuss the Ohio Middle Mile Consortium (OMMC), and The Ohio Governor’s Office of Appalachia will provide organizations whose awards were not funded through the ARRA other possible funding solutions.
